This intense drama offers a heartbreaking vision of the long-term effects of abuse. The action chops and changes through different periods of time as we see how the fictional abduction of Ryan Russell affects his family - and his abuser - over a quarter of a century. Glendale College should be proud of this impressive production which teams excellent acting with a clever use of stage space to create a piece of drama that is gut-wrenching, frightening and moving in equal measures. With a script and cast as strong this, their emphasis on set was somewhat unnecessary, and the awkward scene changes spoiled the tension that the actors worked so hard to create. Nonetheless, this is extremely powerful stuff.
